About us
Applied Security Academy has been founded as Progard Academy in 2000, by Progard Securitas, Company which received recognition from the Republic of Serbia for best corporate brand in Property and Personal Security in 2006.
From the very start, Academy programs were in accordance with the programs of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International) and UK Security Industry Training Organization (SITO). After establishment of Confederation of European Security Services (CoESS) and creation of European professional training manual, Academy adopted its Basic Training Program in accordance with CoESS Manual, and after applying for membership in CoESS (on December 11, 2006) introduced it as its own standard.
As of 2008, our services are ISO 9001:2000 certified by Swiss company SGS.
So far, our training programs have been attended by over 20.000 trainees – security officers, security managers, and employees in risky and stressful jobs.
